In the 8th minute, Zézinho Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Werneck FC - DMZ's Fernando Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Murilo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Godoi in the 15th minute of the match. Murilo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zézinho Fantini hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fernando Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Neves was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Sedex F.C's Murilo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Vinhas in the 23rd minute of play. Acácio Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Fernando Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Neves was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Murilo Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Fernando Vinhas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sedex F.C's Murilo Neves. Murilo Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Caio Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Murilo Neves made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Fernando Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murilo Neves. Fernando Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Vinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Neves. That made the score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. The Sedex F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Werneck FC - DMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
