After 24 minutes of play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Jefferson Otto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nildo Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Wojciech Szczęsny managed to get in a good position for a shot. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Szczęsny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Jefferson Otto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nildo Rezende. Caatiba MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Otto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Geovanni Sabóia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jefferson Otto put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Nildo Rezende. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
