Murilo Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If João Carlos Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bebeto Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save New Loser FC from getting a goal against them. Murilo Neves came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by New Loser FC's Gildo Corrêa. But to his dismay, Gildo Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

João Carlos Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murilo Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for New Loser FC. 66 minutes into the match, Sedex F.C's goalkeeper Murilo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Corrêa. 70 minutes into the match, Sedex F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Penha came free, but Murilo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo Corrêa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Murilo Neves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, New Loser FC's Gildo Corrêa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sedex F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute, New Loser FC's Sebastião Arósio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murilo Neves. Murilo Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Murilo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Arósio in the 89th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sedex F.C's Murilo Neves got control of the ball when Gildo Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sedex F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 100th minute, when Aírton Quirino scored to the left of an out of position Murilo Neves, making the score, 1-7.
