Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nando de Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Félix during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Henrique Félix hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Notts County BR's goal looked a bit too open when Nando de Alcântara came free, but Silvinho de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Silvinho de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Varela struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Silvinho de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catugi FC. Nando de Alcântara took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho de Brito. Silvinho de Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Notts County BR's Manuel Monteiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Österlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folke Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Nando de Alcântara sped through Notts County BR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvinho de Brito. Folke Österlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Favoretto in the 26th minute. If Claudinei Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 36th minute of the match. Nando de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Silvinho de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catugi FC. Folke Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Leonel Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cido Arósio made the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Falcão Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nando de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes, Cássio Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Notts County BR and the Catugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cássio Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Hernani Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho de Brito skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Leonel Varela got a free kick in the 69th minute. Leonel Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho de Brito having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Adalberto Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notts County BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catugi FC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Notts County BR got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Favoretto. Nando de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Silvinho de Brito made a huge save. Notts County BR's Silvinho de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Notts County BR from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute of the match Douglas de Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Österlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Douglas de Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Österlund skillfully saved the ball. Silvinho de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando de Alcântara in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nando de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Catugi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. The Notts County BR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catugi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
