Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Trancoso started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Dito Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fernando de Lima lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Milanis E.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SE Palmeiras:s goal. Milanis E.C.:s Magno Braga showed great skill when he stopped Abelardo Medeiros:s penalty. After 9 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Mazza. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. João Vítor de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Braga having to interfere. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 23rd minute of play. Milanis E.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when João Vítor de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Magno Braga, making the score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, Zé Carlos da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Will Muralhas. SE Palmeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Magno Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor de Almeida in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Guto Bueno got a free kick in the 55th minute. 65 minutes into the match, João Vítor de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magno Braga. Milanis E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Vítor de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto das Neves came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Natã Salles got a free kick in the 69th minute. SE Palmeiras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abelardo Medeiros in the 71st minute. The corner led SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi to a score. 4-1 in the 72nd minute. Abelardo Medeiros took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Braga. Magno Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 80th minute of play. Abelardo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Milanis E.C.'s Zé Carlos da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. SE Palmeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
