Renatinho Freitas took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Muralhas. Will Muralhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 37th minute SE Palmeiras were awarded a corner. Abelardo Medeiros went to the cornerflag to take it. João Pedro Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor de Almeida in the 44th minute of play. João Pedro Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Godoi's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. Diamante Negro DK - VV succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SE Palmeiras had controlled the match.
