Alexandre Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho de Lima's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manaus FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Facopo FBPA's Walmyr Simões ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexandre Toledo. Alexandre Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Alberto Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alexandre Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Silvinho de Lima took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Alexandre Toledo to make any attempt to save it. Walmyr Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmyr Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Toledo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Ramos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Manaus FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Ramos. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvinho de Lima made a kick off. Flávio Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Abel Leal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manaus FC's Tadeu Hoffmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Manaus FC's Alexandre Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Bueno in the 65th minute of play. Alexandre Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Barbosa went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Manaus FC's Henrique Ramos got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alexandre Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Facopo FBPA's Silvinho de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Alexandre Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Pedro Luís Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Toledo. Manaus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After 92 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Barbosa. When Vitório Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facopo FBPA's protests and gave Vitório Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Vitório Bueno got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Sidnei Monteiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enio Trigo. Sidnei Monteiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. There was no doubt that Facopo FBPA were the better team. Facopo FBPA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
