Artur Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Fantini in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Maria Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Figueiredo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Jacinto Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gmoch went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute Erivaldo Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Fantini made a kick off. Tony Palmeira hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. MDS Soccer Club's Lukasz Gmoch was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lukasz Gmoch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jacinto Figueiredo made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, José Maria Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDS Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 67th minute, Erivaldo Severo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Figueiredo. The goal made the score 0-7. Silvério das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvério das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Silvério das Neves. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Claudinho Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Silvério das Neves. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Verde FC's zone, Silvério das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Figueiredo came out of the goal and Silvério das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Mineiro in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Claudinho Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Artur Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Maria Mineiro. 94 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Mineiro came free, but Jacinto Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MDS Soccer Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
