The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Aparecido in the 2nd minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Pereira in the 4th minute. Luciano Pereiras short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Vladimir Neves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimir Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Mala FC from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes, Washington Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mala FC and the Capivara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Mala FC's Vladimir Neves got control of the ball when Luciano Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Pereira got free with Vladimir Neves in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Washington Berger made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Domingues. Capivara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vladimir Neves made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Luciano Pereira sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Capivara FC's Vladimir Neves threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glauco Aparecido, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Luciano Pereira could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Vladimir Neves however easily saved by the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Aparecido came free, but Vladimir Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the game Dieguinho Pinho made a throw-in which Luciano Pereira played forward. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Pereira to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Jacinto. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pereira in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute Glauco Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Aparecido in the 61st minute of play. Mala FC's Adalberto Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Mala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mala FC defense, Glauco Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Neves. The Mala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Neves should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Luciano Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Vladimir Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vladimir Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Pereira went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Lúcio Domingues made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Samuel Dante sent off a good shot on target. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mala FC defense, Glauco Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Neves. Vladimir Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pereira in the 89th minute of the match. Dieguinho Pinho made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mala FC's Samuel Dante. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capivara FC had played much better football throughout.
