Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Paulo Lucas in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC La Masia were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Capivara FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Zanette took the corner. João Paulo Lucas made a great header on FC La Masia's corner, it was just that Capivara FC's Lúcio Domingues managed to reach the ball for a save. After 11 minutes FC La Masia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Júnior Veloso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Júnior Veloso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC La Masia's Olívio Romero did a great save. Olívio Romero came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Júnior Veloso. But to his dismay, Júnior Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. FC La Masia's Olívio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC La Masia from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Washington Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio Domingues. Capivara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Osmar Paranaense hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Luciano Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Olívio Romero made a huge save. Lúcio Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Furtado in the 30th minute of the match. Luan Furtado took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Domingues. Lúcio Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lucas Dracena hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, FC La Masia's Luan Furtado made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luciano Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Olívio Romero made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Capivara FC's Olívio Romero threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Júnior Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half FC La Masia were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo Lucas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Baltazar Sampaio hit a great ball. Olívio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivara FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Rosado got free with Lúcio Domingues in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior Veloso went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC La Masia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ciro Recife hit a great ball. Júnior Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olívio Romero having to make a save. After having played for 96 minutes, João Paulo Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC La Masia's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC La Masia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Capivara FC's much stronger midfield.
