Geovani Bezerra started the match with the kick off. Carlinhos Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Porto in the 9th minute of the match. When Maurinho Porto came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Porto couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by União Agrícola Barbarense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudinei Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's players had a chance to rest. After 22 played minutes Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Bezerra. Carlinhos Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Porto in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Maurinho Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Alberto de Salles's late challenge caught a Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Alberto de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ booed when União Agrícola Barbarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Maurinho Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Michel Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlinhos Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Miranda in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mané Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delfim Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Maurinho Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
