Paulo Renato Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mané Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Abraão in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Adalberto Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Meira came out of the goal and Adalberto Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Seco in the 15th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Raimundo Abraão rounded Paris San Duíche's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 26th minute, Adalberto Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris San Duíche fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Faustão Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris San Duíche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wesley Meira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris San Duíche's Osmar Seco. But to his dismay, Osmar Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 34th match minute, Paris San Duíche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Paris San Duíche's goal looked a bit too open when João Tinoco came free, but Mané Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Abraão in the 43rd minute of play. Mané Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paulo Renato Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Linhares in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustão Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Paris San Duíche's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Linhares came free, but Mané Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Abraão went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Cearense in the 77th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sílvio Luiz Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maverick Futebol Clube's protests and gave Sílvio Luiz Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luiz Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If João Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Esteves came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Maverick Futebol Clube's Paulo Renato Linhares. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Mané Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Linhares in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute João Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
