The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fluminense Football Club booed when H4K.BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Toledo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Fluminense Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of H4K.BR:s goal. If Reynaldo Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Fluminense Football Club's Arnaldo Toledo got control of the ball when Reynaldo Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Rodriguinho Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Reynaldo Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Toledo. Fluminense Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 36 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H4K.BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fluminense Football Club the free kick. After 37 played minutes, Fluminense Football Club's Elói de Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cléber Arantes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fluminense Football Club reached it. After 39 played minutes H4K.BR got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Sena. In the 41stth minute of the game Reynaldo Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluminense Football Club's Arnaldo Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléberson Sena hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 49 played minutes, Fluminense Football Club's Elói de Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cléber Arantes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fluminense Football Club reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Travassos to make the kick off. Arnaldo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Travassos in the 53rd minute of play. Reynaldo Travassos took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Toledo. Arnaldo Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tarcisio Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Toledo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Toledo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Reynaldo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Juvenal Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Toledo. Fluminense Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 95th minute, Reynaldo Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H4K.BR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
