CRISDIELDAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Penha in the 9th minute of play. Reinaldo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Penha in the 17th minute of play. Ivo Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CRISDIELDAN's Ivo Souza got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 36 minutes of play, CRISDIELDAN's Beto Penha made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s zone, Beto Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal and Beto Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, CRISDIELDAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Sarmento to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Penha was the one to do the kick off. Eurico Soares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Reinaldo Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRISDIELDAN. 62 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Beto Penha came free, but Reinaldo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Beto Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson de Brito got free with Reinaldo Damião in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
