AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Teixeira in the 36th minute of play. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Guto Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enéas Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Donatello to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoel Teixeira in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enéas Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rafinha Matorin hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Guto Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Zeca do Valle got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Guto Neto came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the BOA VISTA E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Neto couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Manoel Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas Marinho was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as BOA VISTA E.C.'s Manoel Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enéas Marinho. That made the score 0-3 after 85 minutes of play. Guto Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Marinho having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Jarbas Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKI CORINTHIANS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOA VISTA E.C. the free kick. AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Neto in the 97th minute of play. The AKI CORINTHIANS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BOA VISTA E.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
