The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hudson dos Santos to make the kick off. When Aníbal Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Planet Caravan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Guedes couldn't finish the play. Romeu Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Antônio Carlos Meira took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Romeu Marques to make any attempt to save it. 67 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrício Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Guedes in the 80th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Saraiva. With 89 minutes on the clock, Dadá Marques commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Dadá Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Inter de Munique's Antônio Carlos Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Valdomiro Macedo in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inter de Munique's Rubinho Munhoz. Planet Caravan were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Inter de Munique to leave the ground with a draw.
