In the 5thth minute of the game Cipriano Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dedê Vinhas's late challenge caught a Agua Santa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Romeu Marques, was totally fooled by Agua Santa's Frank Rosa, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nuno Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Queirós in the 21st minute of play. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pinho in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vladimir Valladares hit a great ball. Nuno Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes into the game, one of Agua Santa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Agua Santa's Nuno Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson dos Santos in the 34th minute of play. Aníbal Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Bebeto Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Hudson dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Nuno Neves made a huge save. Nuno Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Bebeto Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Hudson dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Neves. Agua Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hudson dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 76 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goalkeeper Nuno Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Queirós. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hudson dos Santos in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Queirós came free, but Nuno Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós managed to work through Agua Santa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bebeto Queirós dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Dedê Mendes's late challenge caught a Planet Caravan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. Planet Caravan made a substitution. Murillo de Almeida replaced Hudson dos Santos. In the 84th minute, Dedê Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Nuno Neves made a huge save. If Aníbal Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Planet Caravan played a much better game than Agua Santa and deserved their victory. The Agua Santa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
