Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Damião got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca got control of the ball when Gustavo Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Nunes came free, but Marcinho Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Nunes in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Fonseca having to interfere. Marcinho Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gustavo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Oliveira. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Natã Sanches put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mamutes EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Marcinho Fonseca had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Luiz Simões's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vânderson Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bola Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes Lobo Guará's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dé Lira who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dé Lira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobo Guará's Vânderson Esteves did a great save. 38 minutes into the game, Lobo Guará's Cacá de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 43rd match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristián Pavon to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Nunes to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Mamutes EC defense, Gustavo Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcinho Fonseca. The Mamutes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Marcinho Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Alexsandro da Silveira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cacá de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcinho Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristián Pavon in the 66th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Claudinei Tande replaced Jorginho Munhoz. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Felippe Zanette got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Pedro Luiz Simões sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Marcinho Fonseca showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rodrigo Ely hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dé Lira could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Vânderson Esteves however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Leite in the 79th minute of the match. Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Aguiar in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Albertinho Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Tande in the 92nd minute of play. Marcinho Fonseca came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobo Guará's Claudinei Tande. But to his dismay, Claudinei Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
