Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Mário Nascimento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mário Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Döring. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Richard Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of André Döring. Juventudes Libertárias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute Remo Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Döring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Mário Nascimento notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Juventudes Libertárias's André Döring. André Döring was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juventudes Libertárias's André Döring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Nascimento in the 32nd minute of play. André Döring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Nascimento in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves got control of the ball when Carlinhos de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juventudes Libertárias's Carlos Alberto Torres shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Eduardo Chaves but with some difficulty. André Döring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Nascimento in the 45th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlinhos de Lara was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Nabar in the 52nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Carlinhos de Lara made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Juventudes Libertárias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andriy Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Roy Pålsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 87 minutes into the game, Dedê Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roceira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventudes Libertárias the free kick. Juventudes Libertárias made a substitution. Fábio Favoretto replaced Roy Pålsson. Dedê Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Roceira SC's zone, Carlos Alberto Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Chaves came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andriy Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Döring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Remo Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Döring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Roceira SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
