Wellington Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamine Yambao in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Novaes in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Carvalho saved Clube Atlético Mineiro from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner. Felipe Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. Felipe Ramos made a great header on Dinamo Colorado's corner, it was just that Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Meirelles in the 24th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper José Maria Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Erasmo Martins made the kick off in the second half. Telmo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dalmo Ramos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dinamo Colorado's Carlos Loureiro was substituted for Otávio Couto. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Dalmo Ramos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Raí Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Ernani Mesquita got a free kick in the 61st minute. Erasmo Martins struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. José Maria Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Clube Atlético Mineiro were victorious despite being under pressure from Dinamo Colorado for much of the match.
