In the 9th minute, Válbson Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Oswaldo Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Custódio in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alexsandro Alves hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Rafinha Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hong Jian Fan got free with Jorge Furtado in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Rayman to maneuver through the defense. Donato Sena made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ambrosio Rayman. In the 34thth minute of the game Rafinha Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafinha Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafinha Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Atlético-PR got a corner. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrinho Hoffmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 42nd minute Ambrosio Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atlético-PR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafinha Custódio made a kick off. Jorge Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hong Jian Fan in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Samuel de Souza hit a great ball. César Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo Paraíba having to make a save. In the 57th minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Válbson Vale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oswaldo Paraíba. Oswaldo Paraíba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Nildo Gomes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donato Sena in the 61 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Rafinha Custódio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Paraíba. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Gomes. With a little luck, Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba got control of the ball when Válbson Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's attentive Nildo Gomes managed to snatch the ball when Donato Sena made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. After 75 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Simão Baptista. In the 80th minute Válbson Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE defense, Ambrosio Rayman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Furtado. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Furtado should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Rafinha Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
