Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Paulo França got the match started through his kick off. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Peres in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valdir Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Décio Marinho was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Michel Shevchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jano Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute, Dito Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when David Freitas came free, but Décio Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Damião, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jano Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gilmar Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jano Neves was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Michel Shevchenko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michel Shevchenko really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Drogba to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, ADM Taquaras's Maurício Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jano Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ADM Taquaras reached it. 54 minutes into the game, Michel Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jano Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jano Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Donato in the 56th minute of the match. Jano Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Shevchenko went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Michel Shevchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jano Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After 66 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Michel Drogba. Jano Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Drogba, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jano Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Décio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Soares in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Rui Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jano Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Cabral in the 77th minute of the match. Jano Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Shevchenko in the 79th minute of play. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Cabral got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 86 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Rui Cabral. In the 88th minute Michel Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Valdir Peres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Décio Marinho. The goal made the score 7-2. With 94 minutes on the clock, Michel Rüdiger commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 95th minute, Michel Rüdiger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
