After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Igor Nóbrega got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Leandro Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elói Ferreira to make the kick off. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play.
