The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Pedro Loureiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Militros F.C.'s Sílvio Leal tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wanderson Valencia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Wanderson Valencia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Oswaldo Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Zanussi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The throw-in from Murilo de Souza in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Militros F.C.'s Willian Amaral. In the 34th minute of the match, Cássio Rocks got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Zanussi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ were awarded a corner. Hudson Melo went to the cornerflag to take it. Hudson Melo made a great header on ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's corner, it was just that Militros F.C.'s Erasmo Zanussi managed to reach the ball for a save. Oswaldo Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Militros F.C.'s Cosimo Tagliente managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiaguinho Hermes in the 39 minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Gabriel Mercado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Militros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ the free kick. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Mercado hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Nando de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes in the game Murilo de Souza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cássio Rocks. Erasmo Zanussi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Rocks in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Rocks to strike the kick off in the second half. Willian Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 52 minutes, Nando de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ and the Militros F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Wanderson Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo de Souza made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tiaguinho Hermes. Hudson Melo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Oswaldo Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Leal. Oswaldo Nunes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wanderson Valencia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Wanderson Valencia notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Oswaldo Nunes. Oswaldo Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Wanderson Valencia made a precise shot to the right of Oswaldo Nunes. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 95 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Nascimento came free, but Erasmo Zanussi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Militros F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Militros F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
