In the 2nd minute, Kiko Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Roche having to interfere. Atlético da Colina's Chico Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléberson Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Tepedino. After 37 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Ronaldão de Azevedo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Chico Bastos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Roche. Chico Bastos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico Bastos made a kick off. Umberto Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cléberson Seco made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Cléberson Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Fonseca. Militros F.C.'s Sérgio Roche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Bastos in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Chico Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Militros F.C.'s Sérgio Roche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Bastos in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Atlético da Colina got a corner. Militros F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Trancoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Wiliam Tepedino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 71 minutes Militros F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Trancoso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Wiliam Tepedino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Militros F.C.'s Sérgio Roche did a great save. Cléberson Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Militros F.C.'s Anísio Zanussi in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cléberson Seco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 83rd match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Mota to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Militros F.C. got a corner. Atlético da Colina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A well-hit corner resulted in Anísio Zanussi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Militros F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Atlético da Colina to leave the ground with a draw.
