In the 8th minute, Mario Duplantier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Paulo Penha made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dennis Bergkamp sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Lendaa came free, but Pedro Paulo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Pesquera kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Duplantier in the 18th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Fernando Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Afonso Massa hit a great ball. Fernando Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Aposan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Agro Imortal defense, Mario Duplantier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Courtois. The Agro Imortal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Courtois should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Luizinho Pesquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Pedro Paulo Penha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Paulo Penha made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dennis Bergkamp sent off a good shot on target. Ingo Schwichtenberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Bethel Raba lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Pedro Paulo Penha. Agro Imortal's Fernando Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Duplantier in the 44th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Artur de Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Courtois quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Agro Imortal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ogro F.C. were winning 1-3.

Ogro F.C.'s Osmar Maciel was substituted for Ingo Schwichtenberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bethel Raba was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Paulo Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 54th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bethel Raba in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Gabriel Lendaa made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Penha. Ogro F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ramon Montagner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Fernando Courtois made a huge save. Bethel Raba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Frans Olsson replaced Afonso Massa. Agro Imortal's Çağrı Torehan was substituted for Dennis Bergkamp. Pedro Paulo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
