Rodrigo Mon ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Ibon in the 15th minute of play forced Vitricidas's goalkeeper Fabricio Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perros del sur's Marcelino Millano pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Benicio Romo's late challenge caught a Perros del sur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 31st minute, one of Vitricidas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vitricidas. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Perros del sur. Astor Fiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabricio Romildo. 0-4. Fabricio Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fabricio Romildo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Perros del sur's Jonatan Ibon. But to his dismay, Jonatan Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vitricidas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perros del sur the free kick. Jonatan Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Romildo having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Perros del sur's Marcos Lauren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Romildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 66th match minute, Vitricidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Romo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st match minute, Vitricidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Egoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Rodrigo Mon made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Romildo. Vitricidas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the match was over Perros del sur could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vitricidas throughout the match.
