HFA FC's Atilano Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nahuel Bustos in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Nicanor Osorio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Ted. HFA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Osorio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to HFA FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ubaldo Guifre hit a great ball. Atilano Ted didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nahuel Bustos went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Fonda. Arnaldo Damario lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Atilano Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahuel Bustos in the 29th minute of play. Atilano Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nahuel Bustos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Nahuel Bustos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Turi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mario Cuenca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HFA FC. After 41 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Daunte. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Mario Cuenca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Otero came free, but Mario Cuenca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Guido Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cuenca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half TALLERES were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Fonda to strike the kick off in the second half. Mario Cuenca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Fonda in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Gilberto Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cuenca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cuenca having to interfere. Atilano Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahuel Bustos in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Nahuel Bustos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nahuel Bustos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Atilano Ted made a huge save. The supporters of TALLERES booed when HFA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Ted was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Nahuel Bustos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nahuel Bustos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Gilberto Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cuenca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TALLERES's Camilo Leobardo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of HFA FC booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. TALLERES made a substitution. Fabian Arnalt replaced Nunez Urdaspal. Ladislao Gaufred hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahuel Bustos in the 85th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Atilano Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The shot was stopped by Atilano Ted but with some difficulty. The TALLERES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TALLERES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
