The audience was convinced that Niceto Sanchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavino Luke was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 6 minutes, Leo Errapel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Stradivarius and the Gaviotas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Errapel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Agustin Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Romulo Llin charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Llin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romulo Llin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Rufo got free with Adan Pereyra in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Lopez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adan Pereyra came out and tried to block the shot, but Casimiro Lopez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute, Leo Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Oliverios struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Adan Pereyra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviotas FC. In the 29th minute, Casimiro Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Adan Pereyra. El Stradivarius's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Casimiro Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Iago's late challenge caught a Gaviotas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Iago helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Stradivarius getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Clodoveo Iago hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Leo Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Adan Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Oliverios. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Niceto Sanchez made the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Ortle took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Pereyra. Adan Pereyra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when El Stradivarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Ursino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Adan Pereyra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adan Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Lopez in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Romulo Llin got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke got control of the ball when Niceto Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adan Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Lopez in the 83rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Oliverios came free, but Adan Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Gaviotas FC were the better team. Gaviotas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
