Rogelio Sotil started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Sotil in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The CoTurq F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Oihan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Bilintx in the 8th minute of play forced CoTurq F.C.'s goalkeeper Isaac Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CoTurq F.C.'s Isaac Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Bilintx in the 8th minute of play. Isaac Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Pueblo in the 9th minute of the match. Marcos Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Oihan having to interfere. Joel Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nicolas Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in CoTurq F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Estudiantes de La Plata a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Evarado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CoTurq F.C.'s Isaac Oihan. 0-2. After 21 minutes, Rogelio Sotil made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. CoTurq F.C.'s Isaac Oihan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Pueblo. The supporters of Estudiantes de La Plata booed when CoTurq F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Oihan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaac Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Estudiantes de La Plata made a substitution. Placido Estefan replaced Esteve Pueblo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Bernal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 77 played minutes Albino Viviano could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-7 into the left cross. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Estudiantes de La Plata's Albino Viviano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rogelio Sotil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isaac Oihan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Albino Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Isaac Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
