The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Braulio Cristofol might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Benino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Cristofol ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Silva booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Roman Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rincón the free kick. Roman Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ignacio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Louis having to interfere. Conrado Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Eufemio in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Silva's goalkeeper Ignacio Louis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Matteo. Hilario Matteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ignacio Louis made a huge save. Hilario Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Hilario Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Eduardo Rexino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Silva's Ignacio Louis. Ignacio Louis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Rexino made a kick off. Ignacio Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Rexino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Eduardo Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Rexino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Louis was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Hilario Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abel Benino came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrado Iban slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 96th minute. Daniel Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Benino having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rincón fully deserved thier win.
