The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Carmelo Jeraldo put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Carmelo Jeraldo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leonardo Palben was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bolsodios! Leonides Pancho's late challenge caught a Bolsodios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Pancho helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Gallardeta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Erubiel Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Gerazan having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, La Gallardeta's Eliseo Illan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Gerazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 35th minute, Aldo Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Froilan Meder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolsodios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Gallardeta the free kick. Froilan Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Paulo Romelio made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Froilan Meder sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Meder was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Hechter hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Leonides Pancho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Paulo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Meder in the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Rolando Lucero made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Romelio. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bolsodios's Daniel Erramun got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Paulo Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolsodios. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Bolsodios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Dario Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Gerazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Erubiel Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benicio Gerazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Marcos Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
