Emiliano Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Fernandes in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Lucas Alario put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Juvenal. After having played for 38 minutes, Lucas Alario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Alario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Juvenal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Alario's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Lucas Alario had several of the DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Emiliano Juvenal as he didn't even see the shot coming. Emiliano Juvenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Alario in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Lucas Alario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Juvenal was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Alario in the 69th minute of play. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting a goal against them. If Rafael Santos Borré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
