Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Vellito started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Vellito came free, but Anier Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Prudencio Rodas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Paulo Mendes. New Pi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Rodas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Higinio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of New Pi booed when Volvio Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Venceslao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Vellito's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Rodas got free with Zé Paulo Mendes in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, New Pi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match, Alfonso Garaona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zé Paulo Mendes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rodas in the 21st minute of play. Volvio Moreno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigio Santiago in the 22nd minute. The corner led Volvio Moreno's Remigio Santiago to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Paulo Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Garaona. 26 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Rodas came free, but Zé Paulo Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Volvio Moreno's Zé Paulo Mendes threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Prudencio Rodas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zé Paulo Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Rodas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in New Pi's zone, Gualterio Bras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Mendes came out of the goal and Gualterio Bras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to New Pi getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jacobo Mantzio hit a great ball. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rodas in the 39th minute of play. New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Rodas in the 42nd minute of play. Higinio Romano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Mendes made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Hugo Vellito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Pi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volvio Moreno the free kick. Hugo Vellito hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Romano was the one to do the kick off. New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Romano in the 53rd minute of play. Zé Paulo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Rodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bernardo Charro charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Charro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Charro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Pi! New Pi:s Zé Paulo Mendes showed great skill when he stopped Remigio Santiago:s penalty. Zé Paulo Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remigio Santiago went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 65thth minute of the game Gualterio Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Prudencio Rodas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zé Paulo Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Paulo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Garaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rodas in the 76th minute of play. Bernardo Charro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Higinio Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Prudencio Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Rodas in the 88th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Bras in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Volvio Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rodas in the 93rd minute of play.
