Godofredo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Leonides Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Celestino Fresco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Regresado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grosso United the free kick. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Regresado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Boniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grosso United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regresado the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Rigoberto Boniel got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Cebrian got free with Saturnino Romo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Zacarias Escobar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Regresado and the Grosso United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Regresado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17th play minutes Adrian Curcio shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Leonides Quintyn and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Horacio Procopio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Leonides Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Curcio in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Regresado's Ramiro Cebrian got a free kick in the 26th minute. Leonides Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Curcio in the 28th minute of play. Regresado's Leonides Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Curcio in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Regresado's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Manny came free, but Leonides Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Grosso United's Godofredo Manny made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Quintyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Manny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godofredo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Quintyn having to interfere. Grosso United's Godofredo Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Regresado got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Acuña. Leonides Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Curcio in the 65th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Adrian Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosso United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Regresado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Elija hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Leonides Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Adrian Curcio sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Paulo Elija was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grosso United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regresado the free kick. In the 80th minute, Paulo Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vicente Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Regresado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Abaunza couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cebrian in the 86th minute of play. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grosso United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
