Adrian Curcio charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Curcio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Adrian Curcio got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Guasuncho's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Curcio came free, but Epifanio Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Cordairo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Urbasa in the 18th minute of play forced Guasuncho's goalkeeper Epifanio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Mantzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guasuncho's zone, Carolo Urbasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Mantzio came out of the goal and Carolo Urbasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Guasuncho's Arnulfo Elija got a free kick in the 31st minute. Epifanio Mantzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Carolo Urbasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Mantzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gonsalve came free, but Saturnino Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Benjamin Haitz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Guasuncho's Abelardo Henrico quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gonsalve in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Gonsalve made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Guasuncho's Guaberto Giraldo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Cayetano Gabirel got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Paolo Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Gabirel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gonsalve in the 87th minute of play. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gonsalve in the 92nd minute of play. When Paolo Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Guasuncho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Cordairo couldn't finish the play. Paolo Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Saturnino Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grosso United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
