Godofredo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Juvenal having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Grosso United's Adrian Curcio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Juvenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Benedicto Aballe got a free kick in the 20th minute. Felipe Olando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Romo having to make a save. Cayetano Gabirel charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Manny to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 93rd minute, Felipe Olando made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Romo. Grosso United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Adolfo Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
