The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the Guiñazú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Cornelio Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gavino Su fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiñazú FC's protests and gave Gavino Su a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gavino Su hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Eyague came free, but Leonides Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 14 minutes on the clock, Mario Ixidor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Guiñazú FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Luganeros AFC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabricio Blanco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni. 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Damaso Rencio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni. Leonides Sedeni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Sedeni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Rencio went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Damaso Rencio put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Sedeni. Cornelio Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Sedeni having to interfere. Guiñazú FC's Santo Heli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Siro Mercurio in the 35 minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Cornelio Eyague had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Sedeni. Guiñazú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Eyague was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Damaso Rencio scored 0-7 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Sedeni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Rencio to strike the kick off in the second half. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Guiñazú FC from getting a goal against them. Esteve Tono hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Santo Heli got a free kick in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Damaso Rencio notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni. Leonides Sedeni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Sedeni was a little too slow when Damaso Rencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-9. Damaso Rencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Sedeni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Rencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Guiñazú FC from getting a goal against them. When Damaso Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Luganeros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Rencio couldn't finish the play. Leonides Sedeni was a little too slow when Damaso Rencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-11. Damaso Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Luganeros AFC's Leonides Sedeni threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteve Tono, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Luganeros AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guiñazú FC throughout the match.
