Jacobo Dodorol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Frichoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacobo Dodorol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 37th minute. Eusebio Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Atilano Blasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Paz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Blasco ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Guido Endira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Paz. Encarale a la gordita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Endira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Asur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sergio Lekubegi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Asur came free, but Guillermo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Argoitz hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Encarale a la gordita could leave the field as winners, despite Cepicó FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
