In the 2nd match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Asur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes of play, Cepicó FC's Mariano Asur made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Jakue was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Rufo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Fagildo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Aaron Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Esmeralda AFC defense, Mariano Asur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Jakue. The Esmeralda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Jakue should have stopped the shot. Cepicó FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
