When Milton Friedman came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Friedman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Oscar Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Txaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 14 minutes, Milton Friedman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milton Friedman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Olli-Pekka Suoste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Txaran was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Bonifacio Heriberto's late challenge caught a Papillon AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 32nd minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes, Olli-Pekka Suoste made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olli-Pekka Suoste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 50th minute of the match Papillon AC got a corner. Vinará FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Octavio Dodorol ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Severino Niva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran did a great save. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Olli-Pekka Suoste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Txaran was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Edelmiro Txaran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olli-Pekka Suoste went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Olli-Pekka Suoste sped through Vinará FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. Oscar Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Txaran having to interfere.
