Doppa Fc's Fabio Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Urki in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Milton Friedman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fabio Basajaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Milton Friedman came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Friedman couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Basajaun was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
