Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Tomás Checa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Haroldo Lon came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pucho's Raul Brion. But to his dismay, Raul Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Oro in the 7th minute of play forced Bengals's goalkeeper Haroldo Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Brion scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Lon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Haroldo Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Brion in the 15th minute of the match. When Aldo Benet fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bengals's protests and gave Aldo Benet a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Benet hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Haroldo Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Manuelo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Pucho booed when Bengals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Tomás Checa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Lon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Zeledon Cesario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Lon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Haroldo Lon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Bengals got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Telmo. Haroldo Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute of the match Tomás Checa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Lon skillfully saved the ball. Bengals's Haroldo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Brion in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Benicio Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Eustacio Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Danilo Paz with Rogelio Cordarrel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Checa got free with Haroldo Lon in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Cesario in the 64th minute of play forced Bengals's goalkeeper Haroldo Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Lon having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Zeledon Cesario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Haroldo Lon, 0-5. If Guaberto Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengals's Haroldo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Cesario in the 81st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Benicio Librado in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bengals's Evelio Eudoxio. Fabio Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengals's Haroldo Lon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bengals from getting a goal against them. Bengals's Haroldo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Cesario in the 90th minute of play. If Fabio Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Pucho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
