Gavino Olo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLATHU. Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristóbal Colon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emanuel Mingo came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gavino Olo could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Joaquin Cordarrel got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Joaquin Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Iratzeder in the 12th minute of the match. Aprígio Tomé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aprígio Tomé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CLATHU booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. CLATHU's Emanuel Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Iratzeder to make the kick off. Jaime Iratzeder in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernabe Osorio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gavino Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Emanuel Mingo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Margarita's Jaime Iratzeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernabe Osorio. That made the score 1-1 after 80 minutes of play. In the 88th minute Emanuel Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Cordarrel was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
