Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guido Serapio started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Gladiadores Legionarios's Freddy Alvarez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Canor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Canor came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiadores Legionarios's Freddy Alvarez. But to his dismay, Freddy Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marcos Canor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Pepillo in the 17th minute of the match. Marcos Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Pepillo in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Gustau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcos Canor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustin Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Florentino Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Guido Serapio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Herrera was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Gladiadores Legionarios's Freddy Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basilio Pepillo scored 1-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Canor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gladiadores Legionarios booed when La Primera Barra 1968 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The La Primera Barra 1968 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gladiadores Legionarios were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Pepillo was the one to do the kick off. Candido Fonso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, La Primera Barra 1968 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Lalla to maneuver through the defense. When Freddy Alvarez in the 60th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Marcos Canor kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Basilio Pepillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Canor came out and tried to block the shot, but Basilio Pepillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 64th minute. Freddy Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Canor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiadores Legionarios. During the 78th minute of the match Florentino Ourente completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Florentino Ourente a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of La Primera Barra 1968 booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Amancio Quintyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Herrera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Primera Barra 1968's zone, Aquilino Argenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Canor came out of the goal and Aquilino Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Nicolas Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiadores Legionarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Primera Barra 1968 the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Gladiadores Legionarios:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Primera Barra 1968:s goal. Guido Serapio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marcos Canor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladiadores Legionarios's Freddy Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Gustau scored 1-7 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Canor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Gladiadores Legionarios players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
