A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besart Toto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Hibai got free with Arnoldo Kismi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Pedroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Mingo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Israel Rainerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Mingo. Leopoldo Arnalt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Mario Padro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atlético Regina's Placido Pedroso. Placido Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Fermin Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Placido Pedroso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Rainerio in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

If Fermin Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fermin Mingo hit a great ball. Fermin Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fermin Mingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Pedroso was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After having played for 69 minutes, Mario Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Regina defense, Fermin Mingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Pedroso. The Club Atlético Regina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Pedroso should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Fermin Mingo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 90th minute of play forced Club Atlético Regina's goalkeeper Placido Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlanta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
