Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Geleberto started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Rodrigo Rey got control of the ball when Jesus Jaunzuria tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Prospero Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caricancha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 11 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Asteri. Jesus Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rodrigo Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caricancha. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Ermegildo Felipo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Donato Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Rios. 29 minutes into the match, Caricancha's Prospero Martino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Rey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Geleberto in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Milio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Baldomiro Bento broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 36th minute, Sixto Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Omar Telmo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ★Independiente Ψ★'s Rodrigo Rey didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Inocencio Asteri got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Caricancha's Elias Milio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Geleberto in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Jaunzuria was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Donato Gorbea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Milio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 58 minutes into the game, one of Caricancha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elias Milio was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Jeronimo Cordero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeronimo Cordero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caricancha's Elias Milio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Caricancha from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes in the game Amador Bertran got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When the final whistle sounded ★Independiente Ψ★ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caricancha.
