After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Lucio Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Hulberto came out of the goal and Lucio Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosario Central's Leopoldo Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Primeiro in the 30th minute of play. Leopoldo Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Primeiro in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Expresso Ranelagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Orlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mateo Pietro fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Mateo Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Mateo Pietro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Angel Mosen fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Angel Mosen a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Primeiro in the 42nd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Leopoldo Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Lucio Primeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo Hulberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucio Primeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Leopoldo Hulberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leopoldo Hulberto was a little too slow when Lucio Primeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-5. 64 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Primeiro came free, but Leopoldo Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Medero during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cayetano Medero hit a great ball. If Lucio Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes Rosario Central's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Lore who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Expresso Ranelagh's corner Gaston Lore fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Hulberto quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Expresso Ranelagh's Lucio Primeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Hulberto. That made the score 0-7 after 82 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cayetano Medero put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Leopoldo Hulberto. Leopoldo Hulberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Primeiro in the 90th minute. Leopoldo Hulberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Primeiro went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. The Rosario Central fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Expresso Ranelagh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
