Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Hernandez in the 5th minute of the match. Primitivo Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Arano in the 9th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Laffitte in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Piratas FC got a corner. La Zabaleta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalmacio Rik ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dalmacio Rik made a great header on Piratas FC's corner, it was just that La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute, Zeledon Laffitte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Nunez Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Raulo. La Zabaleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nunez Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Filomeno Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, La Zabaleta's Mateo Blanco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 35 minutes into the game, Martin Dalmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Zabaleta the free kick. The supporters of La Zabaleta booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Hernandez in the 40th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Angelino Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Nunez Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Angelino Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Hernandez in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Rik might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Rik ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Hernandez in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Raulo saved La Zabaleta from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Nunez Hernandez notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo. Angelino Raulo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 minutes, Aureliano Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Zabaleta and the Piratas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Franco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Hernandez in the 77th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Angelino Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Hernandez in the 79th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Nunez Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Hernandez came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Piratas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Zabaleta.
