A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Virgilio Lobo hit a great ball. Leandro Guillelme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorino Gaufred. Piratas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonardo Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Lobo got free with Leonardo Gonzalez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
